I'm honored to be one of the original cast members of this incredible Journey, that the incomparable Kevin "Red" O'Shea would consider me worthy of the calling. It's been an amazing experience over the last few years: getting to know a bunch of half-crazy fully committed mostly over-the-hill men who have set reason and caution aside and jumped into the "deep water". We're blessed by our Creator to have the ability to do this (despite the heat and, for many of us, advanced age) in such a gorgeous part of the world. The 3rd Annual Journey of Awesomeness is a 2-day, 200-mile trek from the beautiful city of Charlottesville, VA to Yorktown, VA. All funds raised benefit Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries, an awesome organization doing awesome things in Charlottesville - more information about CALM can be found here. Last year, we raised over $60,000 and we're excited and grateful for the opportunity to do it again in 2017!
